There is a known problem using Internet Explorer in the LAC. We have implemented a fix to ensure this can be used.
However, you may wish to consider using Firefox as your Browser as this will give you a much better and easier time when creating recommended searches.
We are working to improve the way the search works in internet explorer and we hope to deliver this very soon.
